Bird Puppets!

One of the highpoints of school for Rebecca this week was music time with Mrs. Healey, at which they sang lots of bird songs. That was serendipitous because the robin’s eggs in the school yard hatched this week. I watched the mother robin feeding the babies worms with Silas and Rebecca after school on Thursday!
In school, the kids borrowed Mrs. Healey’s bird idea and made their own bird puppets. I am told that the puppets came to life and ate all kinds of worms and berries as they flew through the classroom.
