One of the most helpful suggestions that Maclean made was to search out specific Yahoo Groups related to your region and even your specific orphanage once you learn that information from your referral. If you can join a specific Yahoo Group on your baby's orphanage, you can learn a lot about what you can expect on your trip and what problems, parasites, and issues you may be in for. You can perhaps even get pictures of the orphanage, anecdotes about the personnel there, etc.
