A Trip to the Zoo in Reston Yesterday

Grandma is Here for Easter

Grandma

Grandma safely arrived from Boston early Friday morning, and we all met her at the Amtrak station in Alexandria. Rebecca is loving getting to know "nana," who is teaching her to say "mama," "nana," and "dada."

Rebecca meets Martha and Don Horne

Martha and Don Horne

Rebecca really enjoyed meeting our VTS dean and president, Martha Horne, and her husband, Don. They brought us all a delicious gourmet dinner, and, as you can see in the lower middle of the photo, they brought Rebecca a wonderful bunny, which she loves!

Some Strolls Around Campus

The weather had been nice, warm, and sunny the last several days, so we took Rebecca on several strolls around campus. She really loves being out in her stroller, and her parents love walking her around and seeing all the trees in bloom right now on the campus of VTS.

Photo of Rebecca with the Yiehs

John and Su Yieh

Our next-door neighbors, John and Su Yieh, and their daughter Janet, have been wonderful supporters of us as we waited and waited for Rebecca. Over these last few weeks since we've arrived home, they've sent us balloons and flowers and meals and homemade soup and all other manner of supports. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Aunt Molly's Hippo is a Real Hit!
