Today we heard from friends and travel buddies Janelle and Edmund who are headed for PA for Thanksgiving. We went to the lovely Mt. Vernon Inn. It was delicious and a feast. There is no connection from the article above and Thanksgiving except that we saw a gorgeous panda toy in the gift shop. We saw a lot of snuggly animals and critters to cuddle on a rainy day.
As Catherine said, today we took my parents to the Mount Vernon Inn at George Washington's estate for Thanksgiving dinner. It was truly delicious. Here are a few photos:
