Tainted Chinese Baby Formula Crisis

Many families with children from China, including Catherine and I, have been concerned about the baby-formula crisis in China. After all, our babies were on formula produced in China for the initial months of their lives. We learned recently that one of the guides in China double-checked with the orphanage in Fuling where Rebecca is from, and the staff was reassuring that they have always been using the Nestle product, which apparently is not involved in the scandal. The situation with the formula is very sad: the contamination has killed four Chinese babies and sickened 54,000.
