Kimball Farm, Jaffrey, New Hampshire

Rebecca enjoyed a favorite place of ours in Jaffrey, NH: Kimball Farm roadside eatery. It's the kind of fun eating place you find in New England, but not much here in Northern Virginia. Among our favorite foods here are the homemade ice-cream, lobster rolls stuffed with lobster chunks, and the huge plates of fried seafood. Rebecca ate a huge meal here, and loved every bite. Then she had a big ice cream. From left to right at the table we have mommy (Catherine), nanna (Cathy's mom), Rebecca Ketziah, daddy (Steve), and our good friend, Jim McCann.

Atop Pack Monadnock's Lookout Tower

Here we are up the lookout tower atop the 2,290-foot summit and flank of Pack Monadnock Mountain in Peterborough, NH. Miller is the oldest state park in the state, and a whole lot of fun. We drove up to the summit on the winding 1.3-mile paved road, and after climbing the tower, hiked down to the base with Rebecca on our backs in a baby backpack! She loved every minute of it, but fell asleep on my back for the final 20 minutes of the hike...
