Marvin Cartoon

This is a copyrighted cartoon called "Marvin" from a Seattle Newspaper-I was born in Seattle, WA
Tomorrow me may go to Centerville, VA for a Cook Family Reunion. We visited Aunt Barbara Strong while in Bridgeport, CT in a nursing home there. Steve thinks we may get our referral around Xmas times. Steve insists that he is cool because "he doesn't need Geeks on call that's for sure." He defeated the copyright protections in order to obtain this image of Marvin. It is from a cartoon serial on Chinese adoption brought to us by Karen Detweiler who adopted a number of girls from China and is affliated with Living Hope Adoption Agency of PA. I like their Christian focus but they were a little too far away to use for us. The Barker Foundation is secular.

New Posting from Barker-China Group

Just received a new posting from another Barker family, the Smith-Euben family, who will be travelling to China later this summer:

"We're delighted that we also will be be traveling to China in mid-August to bring home our new daughter, Jenna Guohua Smith-Euben. Jenna was born on March 13, 2005 just outside of Xi’an. We are attaching the referral pictures of Jenna. Lauren, our three-year old daughter, who was also adopted from China, says that she is looking forward to being Jenna’s big sister." ---Mark, Donna, and Lauren
