One of Rebecca's current favorite games is closing herself in the various closets in the upstairs bedrooms. Just before closing the sliding doors, she waves at us and says, "Bye, bye!" It brings a big smile to her face, and endless pleasure...

Labor Day Weekend, 2007

Rebecca is having a nice long weekend. Yesterday we had a nice long day at the Water Mine in Reston. We had been there at the start of the summer, and Rebecca has really changed in just this short time. She enjoyed the water park much more, and especially loved the wading pool and the toddler water-slide with the other children her age. It was much more fun taking her now that she is 17 months old and firmer on her feet.
