Hello! I stumbled upon your blog while looking for a nativity set with Asian figurines. My family has two children from China, and is adopting two more this winter. I would love to have a nativity scene in our home that depicts more cultures than ours currently does! I see you are affiliated with VTS...I am currently a second year student at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg. Anyway, I was wondering if you have ever seen a nativity set with Asian figurines. I noticed that you had a picture of one in your bookstore, but couldn't tell if the figures were Asian or not. Any help you could provide would be great, thanks!

Hi Caitlin, My colleage Barney Hawkins here is an expert collector of nativity sets from around the world. I would email him with your question. I bet he could point you in the right direction. Here is a link to his set from Asia: http://daughterfromchina.blogspot.com/2008/12/chinese-nativity.html
