Our Daughter From China

This Blog shares our journey to bring home our daughter from China. It tells something of her story and of our story with her.

Aloha Hawaii! Waiting for our daughter or daughters or twins is a long wait. Steve has taken to running and it does release those happy hormones for him to relax him. I try to think of soothing beach imagery to take my mind off the wait. I have the nursery ready and am trying to make travel plans to possibly stop in Hawaii. Our next door neighbors leave for Taiwan on Tuesday. My family building process has taken about twenty years and included a stillborn and miscarriage. It is a emotional wait and ardous. We miss our precious daughter and of course, no one can replace her. A good friend from Holland is coming to visit mid-week and this is encouraging. I may try to fly direct to China via Toyko, Japan or go via Hawaii (Honnulou and Kaui--a picture perfect island) on Northwest or All Nippion Air Lines.
